ABOUT THE WORK
Influenced by humans’ effects on the earth, the 'Negatives' allow us to look at these objects in a new light, simultaneously beautiful and strange they are mutations of objects we know and transport us to a parallel reality and possibility of a near future. Cast from a recycled bale of cardboard, the Silicone is peeled from the object to create an inverted skin of texture that is shaped around a form.
